Who We Are
To provide exceptional dental care to all our patients, we have an excellent team, led by two in-house dentists: Doctor Sam Ganji and Doctor David Ganji.
Doctor Sam Ganji holds a Bachelor of Science degree in PsychoBiology from UCLA and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. He has great experience earned from his volunteer work with the USC Mobile Dental Clinic, where they provide dental healthcare for the less privileged people in Los Angeles. Doctor Sam Ganji is also a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association as well as the Los Angeles Dental Society.
By being an associate professor at the School of Dentistry in USC, the doctor can stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques pertaining dental care and incorporate them in his day-to-day operations to provide all his patients with the highest quality and most efficient dental treatment. Again, Doctor Ganji specializes in an area of dentistry that has challenged many people across the globe, which is why he puts great detail and thought in coming up with the highest quality mode of treatment to produce the most predictable results in every situation he handles.
Doctor David Ganji, on the other hand, is a very passionate individual as far as dentistry and dental care is concerned. What drives him mainly is the positive results he gets when he successfully treats people who have struggled for years with dental pain or a smile. When he sees how their life changes and how it boosts their self-esteem and confidence, he gets ready to help more people, and this is what has driven him all these years. Dr. David’s strong belief is that anyone can have and is entitled to a healthy and beautiful smile, and he tries hard to make the dream of every one come true.
In addition to his passionate drive, Dr. David Ganji is also well skilled, with Bachelors in Science degree in Psychobiology from UCLA. His strong desire to help other people drove him to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, from where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating as one of the best students in the field of Dentistry.
To become better at what he does, Dr. David has continued to pursue other courses in dentistry, such as the dental implant, root canal, and cosmetic dentistry.
Both dentists, who happen to be brothers, have great experience in a great range of dental issues and are continuously growing their skills and experience to stay updated as a way to serve our patients better. Working with Dr. David and Sam is an excellent team of dental assistants, who have an equally exceptional educational training and extensive experiences, and are all aimed at making the experience of every patient they attend to as enjoyable as possible.
There is a reliable team of customer care representatives too, who ensure that any questions or help that our patients need are given the first priority. With this great team, you can be sure that anyone working in our offices will be more than happy to serve you.

Our Services in Detail
With our goals of promoting better oral health, gum, and dental functionality, and improving the visual appearance of our patients, we have come up with a good range of dental procedures that are offered by competent dentists in our offices. We make use of the best quality materials, dental appliances, and tools to provide quality assistance to anyone that comes to us for help. Below are the major areas that our services cover, including implants, an area where most dentists do not cover for lack of better training and experience:
Free Dental Exam
A regular dental checkup is usually recommended as a way to capture dental issues at their minor stage as well as prevent any issues that may come up in the future. Many people have not had a chance to have an oral checkup, which is why we offer free dental exams for all our new patients. With the exam, we should be able to check your mouth and teeth for any indications of weakening or decay as well as your gums to ensure that they are in good health.
Free Digital X-Ray
Washington Dental uses modern x-ray equipment to produce better and high-quality images that will help you and the doctor determine the dental problem, whether on your teeth or gums. With our free digital x-ray services, we aim at ensuring that nothing that might cause you problems in the future is missed. Our intraoral minicameras will also be used to capture any problems you might have in your gums and teeth. A digital x-ray is particularly important on your first visit if you haven’t visited a dentist in a long time.
Dental Fillings
Through the use of white composite fillings, we ensure that all cavities in the teeth are perfectly filled. We use fillings from materials that are stain-resistant, durable and strong, and those that will minimize the amount of material in your tooth that should be removed for the fillings to be installed. However, our professional dentists will give you the best treatment options, then allow you to make the choice that you feel best suits your problem.
Terms & FAQ
Dental Implants
Dental implants act like roots of teeth and are surgically installed into the jawbone to allow a dentist to install replacement teeth or a bridge in the affected area. Implants are meant to fuse into the jawbone to provide stable support for the artificial teeth. There are mainly two types of implants: Endosteal and Subperiosteal implants. With implants, your artificial tooth will still function as the normal teeth.
Dental Bridge
A dental bridge is meant to join an artificial tooth to the adjacent teeth or implants. Dental bridges can be used in place of implants, but only if there are healthy adjacent teeth to support the artificial tooth being installed. A dental bridge can last up to 15 years with proper dental and oral hygiene, plus regular checkup with the dentist.
Invisalign
Invasilign is used in place of metal braces to straighten teeth. They are a bit costly as compared to braces but are clear and do not hurt. Invisalign is mainly used for aesthetic purposes. If you need more functionality and something that will work more efficiently to fix your teeth problems, braces will be a better alternative.
Crowns
A dental crown, also called a dental cap, is used to encircle or cap a tooth or a dental implant. Your dentist will recommend a crown if they feel that there is a cavity that is threatening your dental implant or an ongoing teeth problem. The cap is installed using dental cement to ensure that it binds well to the affected tooth/teeth.
How do I know if I have a dental problem?
A regular dental exam should make it easy for the dentist to capture early signs of a dental problem. Thus, we recommend that you visit us frequently and regularly so that we can detect any dental problems as early as possible. However, if you experience signs like jaw pain, mouth sores, swollen gums, bleeding gums, or broken teeth, you should visit a dentist as soon as possible.
Why are dental exams necessary?
Smaller dental issues are easy to spot during dental exams to prevent them from becoming bigger, more serious and costly to treat. Dental exams are recommended every 6 months or as often as your dentist will recommend.
When would I need an extraction?
If you have a tooth that is causing pain or one that has a problem, your dentist may recommend its extraction. If the problematic tooth is not growing normally or is preventing proper teeth alignment, the best thing might be to have it removed.
Are dental x-rays safe?
Generally, dental x-rays are safe, but there are set limits by a medical and dental expert, which a well-trained dentist should be aware of. If you have not seen a dentist for a long while, we recommend a dental x-ray on your first visit, then it can be done after 6 months or 2 years based on the need.
How does a filling work?
If you have a cavity that is eating through the surface enamel of your tooth, it might get worse if the tooth is not filled. Our dentists will first prepare the teeth for the filling, after numbing your mouth, and a white composite material will be filled in the affected part. It will go in as soft then harden as it dries.
